It's not what the player does with the ball that is important, but what the ball does for the player.
One Day Shootouts is searching for an exclusive group of corporate sponsors that want to make a real difference in youth athletics. Support a child and you support the future of the world!
After 10 years of providing outstanding youth basketball tournaments, One Day Shootouts is launching a corporate sponsorship program designed to subsidize participation costs and provide unique marketing opportunities for our sponsors.
Each year, One Day Shootouts hosts over 200 basketball tournaments for over 15,000 youth teams with players between the ages of 8-18. Over 450,000 players, parents, and fans attend our events annually. That equates to an attendance level which is 60% of the average NBA team! However, our season never ends.

Our sponsorship program is very different from other traditional offerings. In fact, our program should be called a “subsidizing” program not a sponsorship program.
For every dollar contributed, 100% will be invested in partner marketing opportunities and used to subsidize registration fees to make youth sports more affordable. Our goal is to lower participation fees for over 15,000 teams!
Sponsorship partners will be allocated marketing benefits based on the percentage of their contribution. Marketing benefits will include, but are not limited to, email marketing, venue signage, internet banners, event branding, admission wristbands, couponing, sampling, custom team awards, and on-location booth participation. The goal is to design programs that match your exact needs. If you would like your category of participation to be exclusive, we can make that happen.
To get started, please contact us at 224-764-1329 or sponsors@onedayshootouts.com. We will then schedule a meeting time to discuss your goals and create a participation calendar for the upcoming year. After the launch, we will meet quarterly to analyze past results and enhance future activities.
Here are 6 reasons why businesses should sponsor a youth sports organization:
-
Increase awareness of the company’s products and services. Each sponsorship package has benefits for the sponsor built in: venue signage, website advertising, company name on uniforms, etc. Through a sponsorship, a company’s brand will be in front of the youth sports market of parents, coaches, program organizers, players and fans.
-
A welcomed form of advertising. In most settings consumers are inclined to tune out advertising. Although many traditional ways of reaching consumers are failing, youth sports sponsorships are a positive and engaging way to market a brand. Parents like to see the companies that are supporting local sports.
-
Help keep the cost of youth sports programs low. Player participation fees cover the majority of the costs of a youth sports program but support from sponsors provides additional resources which can help keep participation fees low. With lower fees, more families are able to afford to sign up and that means more children being able to receive the many benefits of sports.
-
Outstanding value for the dollars invested. Although sponsorship package costs vary from organization to organization, they commonly range from $10,000 up to $500,000 or more. When comparing the cost of other marketing outlets like print, television and billboard advertising, youth sports sponsorships can be a great value and a smart option to include into the marketing mix.
-
Build goodwill. Companies that sponsor youth sports programs make a positive contribution to their community. Overall this can evoke a community wide feeling that a company understands the impact and importance of sports for their youth. This feeling can instill loyalty among a business’ current and future patrons.
-
Possible tax incentive. Many youth sports organizations are registered nonprofit groups. If that is the case, businesses can get a tax break for making a charitable donation. That is just another added benefit of sponsoring youth sports.Source: National Alliance for Youth Sports, Inc.
